The French writer Julien Viaud aka Pierre Loti (born in 1850), Loves this high place of Istanbul, located in Ayub area, and the intensity of his love for him, he called in his writings, "Mount Ayoub Bible," and then called "hill Pierre Loti," for ever this place is in his novels and writing, then the city rewarded him across his name on a large cafe, has become a place of pilgrimage for tourists and a place for intellectuals in Istanbul.
He also states that in this place where he met Pierre Loti Turkish women, who named his novel "surge" in its name, which later became his wife.
